Emphasis

Emphasis is a rule and a lead-in, never a filled box. A navy patterned block floating on the paper is banned in every variation, at every size, at every opacity, and at every arrangement. When a shape keeps failing on rework, the fix is to delete the shape, not to iterate on it. Four shapes ship and there is no fifth.

Standard callout

A flat Fog panel with a solid navy rule down its left edge and nothing else. No navy ground, no weave, no border on the other three sides, no tint that is not Fog, no shadow, no radius. The system radius is 0.

Accent callout

Green rides the rule, never the lead-in text. Triumph Green does not carry small type on white paper, so the label stays navy and only the 3pt edge changes colour. One accent callout per page at most.

The compact form, for a one line aside inside a step or beside a table.

"A quote block holds language lifted from a source, a vendor, or a comparable club. It stays in quotation marks and is never paraphrased into house voice. Its rule is Mist, not navy, so it reads as quieter than a callout."

First notice

Two short notices sit side by side. Two columns, never three.

Second notice

Two gives about 45 characters a line. Three gives about 25 and reads as smashed together.

What the rule rules out

No navy ground behind body copy, and no weave fill at any opacity.
No border on the other three sides of a callout, no shadow, no radius.
Nothing on the paper touches the running head or the footer. Every block clears both by real space.
Green is the callout rule and nothing else. It is never the reading ink, never a small label, and never a heading.
Lime and sky are data and mark colours. Neither is chrome, a link, a hairline, or decoration on paper, and yellow is warning UI only.

Callout, accent, hint, quote. The four shapes, and there is no fifth. The two-up notices above are a layout, not a shape. Labels 10pt uppercase, panel padding 8pt by 11pt, rule 3pt navy or 3pt green.
